# Tool cost settings

The **Settings** page is where administrators configure platform-wide settings that power calculations elsewhere in G360 — like tool costs, ROI, and executive summaries. This page lives under **Administration → Settings** in the left sidebar.

At the top of the page, five tabs organize these settings:

* **Tool Cost Settings** — covered in this guide.
* **ROI Settings**, **Cloud Provider Settings**, **AI Coding Tool Settings**, **Executive Summary Settings** — additional configuration areas, covered in separate guides.

## Tool Cost Settings

**Tool Cost Settings** lets you configure the license cost per seat for each tool connected to G360. This is what allows G360 to calculate return on investment (ROI) and surface seat-level waste — for example, flagging seats that are paid for but going unused — across your integrations.

The tools are organized into six sub-tabs, grouped by category:

| Sub-tab              | Tools shown                                   |
| -------------------- | --------------------------------------------- |
| **Repository** | GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps |
| **LLM** | Anthropic, OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot |
| **AI Coding** | Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf |
| **Work Management**  | Jira                                          |
| **Communication**    | Slack, Microsoft Teams                        |
| **Customer Support** | OpsGenie, PagerDuty                           |

<Note>
  The exact tools listed under each sub-tab reflect which integrations your organization has connected — you'll only see cost settings for tools you've actually set up under **Integration**.
</Note>

### Understanding the table

Within each sub-tab, a table lists every tool in that category:

| Column          | What it shows                                                                                    |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Tool** | The tool's name and icon, with its category label underneath (for example, "Repository", "LLM"). |
| **Cost / Seat** | The configured license cost per seat for that tool (for example, "$10", "$8.75"). |

### Editing a tool's cost

Click **✏️ Edit** next to any tool to update its cost per seat. Once saved, this cost is used across G360 wherever that tool's ROI or seat-level spend is calculated — so keeping these figures current ensures the numbers you see elsewhere in the dashboard (like cost-waste reports) stay accurate.
