Overview
The Cursor Connections page allows administrators to configure and manage Cursor API connections within G360. Once configured, these connections can be used to authenticate with Cursor services and enable integration with AI Coding Tools Metrics and reporting capabilities. Using this feature, users can:- Create Cursor connections
- Configure API credentials
- Associate Cursor projects
- Test connection validity
- Monitor connection status
- Manage existing Cursor integrations
Prerequisites
Before configuring a Cursor connection, ensure you have:- Access to the G360 platform
- Appropriate permissions to manage integrations
- A valid Cursor API Key
- A valid Cursor Project ID
- Access to the Cursor project that will be connected
Navigate to Cursor Connections
- Open G360.
- Navigate to Integration.
- Select Cursor Connections.
Understanding the Cursor Connections Page
The page contains the following information:- API Key Name
- Provider
- Status
- Created At
- Last Used
- Available Actions
Create a New Cursor Connection
- Click Add Connection.
- The Add Cursor Connection window will appear.
Configure Connection Details
Connection Name
Enter a unique name for the connection. Examples:- Cursor Production
- Engineering Cursor
- Development Team Cursor
- Internal Cursor Integration
Use descriptive connection names to simplify administration and maintenance.
API Key
Enter a valid Cursor API Key. The API Key is used to authenticate requests between G360 and Cursor.The API Key must remain valid and active for the connection to function correctly.
Project ID
Enter the Cursor Project ID associated with the project that should be connected. The Project ID identifies the specific Cursor workspace or project from which data will be retrieved.Test the Connection
Before saving the configuration:- Click Test Connection.
- Wait for the validation process to complete.
Expected Result
- If the API Key and Project ID are valid, the connection test will succeed.
- If validation fails, review the configuration and retry the test.
Save the Connection
- After a successful validation, click Save Connection.
- The connection will be added to the Cursor Connections list.
Managing Existing Connections
Administrators can manage configured connections directly from the Cursor Connections page. Available actions include:- View connection information
- Edit existing connections
- Delete connections
Understanding Connection Status
The Status column indicates the current state of the connection. Possible statuses include:Active
The connection has been successfully configured and is available for use.Inactive
The connection is currently unavailable or requires configuration updates before it can be used.Monitoring Connection Usage
The Last Used field displays the most recent time the connection was utilized. This information can help administrators:- Identify active integrations
- Detect unused connections
- Review integration usage patterns
Troubleshooting
Connection Test Failed
Possible causes:- Invalid API Key
- Invalid Project ID
- Authentication failure
- Network connectivity issues
- Verify the API Key
- Verify the Project ID
- Confirm access to the Cursor project
- Retry the connection test
Connection Shows as Inactive
Possible causes:- Expired credentials

Unable to Save Connection
