Overview

Before G360 can be installed, your organization must provide a server or virtual machine (VM) that meets the required system specifications. These requirements are typically handled by your organization’s infrastructure or IT team.

Server Requirements

G360 requires the following minimum system resources: The recommended configuration is intended for production environments and organizations with higher usage requirements.

Supported Operating Systems

G360 supports the following operating systems:
  • Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
  • Amazon Linux 2023

Required Software

The G360 server must have the following software installed:
  • Docker Engine 24 or later
  • Docker Compose v2
Docker is used to run and manage the G360 application components.

Server Access

The installation process requires appropriate access to the G360 server. The installation engineer must be able to:
  • Connect to the server using SSH
  • Run commands with sudo privileges
  • Manage Docker containers

Time Synchronization

The server must have time synchronization enabled. Your organization can use:
  • NTP
  • chrony
Accurate system time helps ensure that logs, background processes, authentication, and other G360 services operate correctly.

Storage Considerations

G360 uses disk space for several components, including:
  • Application container images
  • Application logs
  • Database data
  • System updates
Make sure sufficient storage is available before installation.
If PostgreSQL is hosted on the same server as G360, additional CPU, memory, and storage capacity may be required.
