Unlike the Organization, Domain, Department, and Team tabs, there is no “Add” button here — users on this tab are populated automatically from your connected tools rather than created manually.
Merge Users tab
Used to combine duplicate user identities (for example, the same person appearing under two different accounts) into a single canonical record.
- Source Entity (merged into target) — the duplicate record that will be merged away.
- Target Entity (kept after merge) — the record that will remain after the merge.
- Use the Search by name or email box above each panel to find the user you want.
- Select the duplicate record by clicking the radio button next to their name in the Source Entity panel.
- Select the record you want to keep by clicking the radio button next to their name in the Target Entity panel.
- Optionally, add context in the Note (optional) field below the two panels explaining why the records are being merged.
- Confirm the merge using the action button below the note field.
Once two records are merged, the source record’s data and history are moved under the target record and this cannot be undone — double-check both selections before confirming.
