ROI Settings Guide
Overview
The ROI Settings module allows organizations to configure cost and productivity assumptions used for ROI calculations across LLM tools, AI coding tools, PR reviews, and Cursor usage metrics within the Engineering Metrics Dashboard. These settings help estimate:- Productivity improvements
- Development time savings
- Human effort reduction
- Operational cost optimization
- AI adoption impact
Step 1: Navigate to ROI Settings
- Open the Engineering Metrics Dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings from the left sidebar.
- Open the ROI Settings section.

LLM Settings
Overview
The LLM Settings tab allows administrators to configure ROI-related parameters for Large Language Model usage. Configured settings are used to estimate:- Token processing costs
- Human processing effort
- Developer cost savings
- AI productivity improvements
Viewing Existing LLM Settings
The LLM Settings table displays:| Field | Description |

Example Provider

Add or Edit LLM Settings
- Click Add LLM Setting or the Edit icon beside an existing provider.
- The Edit LLM Settings window will open.
Configure LLM Information
Provider
Select the LLM provider. Example: OpenAITokens Count for Pricing
Enter the token count unit used for pricing calculations. Example: 1,000,000Input Tokens / Day
Specify the estimated number of input tokens processed daily.Output Tokens / Day
Specify the estimated number of output tokens generated daily.Human Processing Speed
Configure the estimated human processing speed. Example: Tokens processed per hourDeveloper Hourly Cost
Enter the estimated developer hourly rate. Example: $40/hrInput Token Price
Specify the input token pricing value.Output Token Price

- Review the configured values.
- Click Save Setting.
AI Coding Tool Settings
Overview
The AI Coding Tool Settings tab allows organizations to configure ROI assumptions for AI-assisted coding platforms. This helps estimate:- Developer productivity improvements

- AI coding tool operational value

Configure AI Coding Tool Information
Coding Tool Name
Select the AI coding tool. Example: GitHub CopilotPer Seat Cost
Enter the subscription or licensing cost per user.Hours Saved / User / Day
Specify the estimated daily time savings per user.Developer Hourly Cost
Enter the average developer hourly rate.Save Settings
- Verify all entered values.
- Click Save Setting.
PR Settings
Overview
The PR Settings tab allows administrators to configure ROI estimates for pull request review activities. These values help estimate:- Time saved during code reviews
- Reviewer productivity improvements
- Cost savings from optimized review workflows

Enter the estimated number of hours saved for each pull request review. Example: 5 hoursDeveloper Cost Per Hour
Specify the average developer hourly cost. Example: $50/hrSave Settings
- Review the values.
- Click Save Setting.
Cursor Settings
Overview
The Cursor Settings tab allows organizations to configure ROI assumptions specific to Cursor AI coding usage. Configured values help estimate:- AI-assisted coding productivity
- Developer time savings
- Cursor subscription ROI

Specify the estimated daily time savings per developer.Developer Cost Per Hour
Enter the average hourly developer cost.Save Settings
- Review the configured values.
- Click Save Setting.
