The Executive Summary Settings tab is where you connect and manage the AI model G360 uses to generate executive summaries — the AI-written overviews you may have seen offered elsewhere in the dashboard (for example, the Executive Summary option on scheduled reports). This tab lives under Administration → Settings → Executive Summary Settings, and is the final tab under Settings. An Active badge next to the page title shows whether executive summaries are currently enabled — this requires at least one active AI model connection.
Executive Summary Settings - AI Model Connections

AI Model Connections

This section manages the connected AI models used to generate executive summaries across all dashboards. You must have an active connection to enable summaries. Each connected model appears as its own card, showing:
  • The provider and model name (for example, “gemini” / “gemini-2.5-flash”).
  • A toggle to make that connection active — flip it on to use this model for generating summaries. Only one connection is typically active at a time.
  • Connection Name — the name given to this connection.
  • Last Activity — how recently this connection was last used.
  • An Edit Connection button to update the connection’s details, and a 🗑️ icon to delete it.
You can have more than one AI model connected, but only the connection with its toggle switched on is actively used to generate summaries. Switching on a different connection’s toggle deactivates the previous one.

Connecting a new AI model

Click the dashed Connect Source card (labeled “Connect Open AI, Sarvam AI, Anthropic or Gemini”) to open the Add Connection dialog.
Add Connection - Choose Your AI Provider
Under Choose Your AI Provider, select one of the available providers: After selecting a provider, click Confirm Selection to proceed — you’ll then be prompted to enter that provider’s API key to complete the connection.
This dialog also lets you select from existing Data Connections rather than creating a new one, if you’ve already connected one of these providers elsewhere in G360 (for example, under Integration).
